前言：
字面上理解"Butterfly Kisses"的意思可能是蝴蝶飞过来亲吻，其实是指当大人和小孩以脸部亲昵地靠在一起时，其中一人的眼睫毛，随着眼睛的眨动，轻轻的刷拂在另外一人的脸颊上，或者是两个人额头面对面的凑在一起，双方的睫毛互相刷拂，那种感觉，就好像是轻柔的蝴蝶在"亲吻"着你（很有feeling吧）~
这首歌的原唱是美国抒情乡村歌手Bob Carlisle，在他女儿十六岁的生日前夕，看着女儿渐渐长大成人，不久就要远走高飞，感慨万千而写下了这首歌，这首歌把一个父亲对女儿的爱写得感人至极！
据说Bob Carlisle原本并没有想要发表，只想把歌曲作为送给女儿的礼物，但是在好友们的鼓励之下，才决定录制唱片。而据《旧金山纪事》报曾报导，有边开车边听此歌的听众把车子停到路边，泣不成声…这首歌灌成唱片后，在排行榜上扶摇直上，获得了极好的成绩，这首歌同时获得了1998年第四十届格莱美最佳乡村歌曲奖，现在已经成为美国人婚礼上必不可少的经典歌曲~
